Throughout the Middle East, salatim are the vibrant salads, dips, spreads, and breads that arrive at the table before the meal—except they often become the meal. A generous, colorful spread that can include 18 to 20 different dishes, all meant to be shared, passed, and enjoyed together. Salatim are mainly vegetarian and gluten free, but there will be some type of chicken on the small plate menu!
