Our GM’s one day mission to raise money for The Zadie Project!
On Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, our General Manager, Keith Yaeger, will be walking the 18-mile “Souper Jenny Trail” with goal of raising at least $1,800 for The Zadie Project.
What is the The Zadie Project?
The Zadie Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to feed and educate children, families and seniors affected by food insecurity in Atlanta. The Zadie Project currently makes and packages nearly 500 quarts of soup per week and through community partners distributes them to Atlantans in need.
What’s the plan?
Keith will start in Decatur at 8am, arrive in Brookhaven around 11am, Buckhead around 1pm, and finish at the Westside location around 3pm. Each person who makes a donation of $18, or more, at any location on the day of his walk, will receive a FREE cup of soup.
How can I donate?
There are many ways for you to make a donation. You can visit The Zadie Project website or come in for lunch and make a donation at any of our 4 Souper Jenny locations. Keith would love donations of $18 - $1 per mile (or more if you’re so inclined) with 100% going to The Zadie Project. Since he is in pretty decent shape for an “old guy,” he should be able to complete the distance! 😊
